Conversations with a Dog Named Lewis, Which Were First Recorded in E-Mails to the Woman with Whom Lewis Shared a Home, But Now—Finally—Have Been Repurposed in Order to Fulfill What Was Obviously Their Blogular Destiny; and Yes, This Extremely Long Subtitle Is a Deliberate Allusion to the Often Rambling Title Pages of Eighteenth Century Epistolary Novels (Because Once an English Major, Always an English Major), While the Regular Posting of These Letters Is Reminiscent of the Publishing of Early Novels in Installments, in Periodicals, and Thus, Another Touchstone for This Enterprise Involving a Dog Who Had Some Interesting Things to Say and an Interlocutor Willing to Record Them for Posterity
